The Details

When: Friday, 9/25/26 beginning at 5:30pm thru Monday, 9/28/25 at 10am

Where: Expansive, private Victorian home in Cape May, NJ

This gorgeous home built in the early 1900s, boasts a 700 sq foot porch, where you can sit back and relax. Feel the sand in between your toes with a short walk up the street to the beach.

Refund Policy

If you are not able to attend the retreat, refund will be available until March 31st, 2026. This will incur a $250 processing fee. After April 1st, 2026 you may transfer your ticket to another participant, but refund will not be processed.

Michelle Quirk, MD

Dr. Michelle Quirk is a board certified pediatrician and a certified run coach with the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). She founded Mindful Marathon to help women physicians use running as a path to healing, self-discovery, and sustainable wellbeing.

Michelle loves the balance she feels with a regular running routine and meditation practice, and she cannot wait to share the powerful results that can be achieved when movement is balanced with rest.

  • 1) Do I have to know how to run to attend this retreat?

    There is no expectation to run. All levels of movement, including walking, are welcome. If you are curious about running or would like to run, Michelle will give you all the tools to get started.

    2) Is this retreat for physicians only?

    Yes! To curate a safe and authentic space, this retreat will be exclusively for women physicians.

    3) Is there CME available for physicians?

    Mindful Marathon has partnered with Learner+. Learner+ allows attendees to capture their reflections and apply to earn CME/CE credit commensurate with the reflections. The yearly cost for the Learner+ platform is $50. Any questions on the application process may be found on the Learner+ website. While your costs may be eligible for reimbursement through your employer, you should check and confirm whether the costs are eligible for reimbursement with your employer.

    4) I’m driving - is there free parking?

    Yes! Free parking is available onsite in the spacious driveway behind the house. Come and go as you like.

    5) I’m traveling a far distance and booking flights - what’s the closest airport?

    The nearest airport is Atlantic City (ACY) which is ~45 miles away. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is ~90 miles away.

    6) When should I plan to arrive and depart?

    Would recommend arriving to the house at 5:30pm on Friday, 9/25. Programming will end after breakfast on Monday, 9/28, with checkout time of 10a. Please plan your travel accordingly.
